Feels sturdy, not cheep, in the hand.Bottom line is This flashlight is fabulous and I am purchasing more to replace the outdated battery-operated ones. I also like the TWO functions available to either use one bulb or all three bulbs on the flashlight. This flashlight is awesome. 60 seconds of cranking gives plenty of light even months later, without buying batteries over and over again.It is very easy to crank, even for people with arthritis, and the flashlight is nicely designed for a comfortable grip when using.
Overall not bad and not good. I got mine for $11, now that I have used it, I would only pay maybe $7 or $8. While the item functioned mostly as described, the beam was very focused and not very bright. It might work in an emergency situation that does not need a bright or wide beam.
You can actually crank the flashlight while the light is turned on to produce a brighter light but as soon as the cranking is stopped, the brightness immediately diminishes.Although the Garrity Power Lite 3 LED Crank Light is not as bright as a conventional battery operated flashlight, it works well enough for use as a regular flashlight. Light is bright after only a few cranks. This crank flashlight does everything it is supposed to do.
Finally something I can review with no regrets. I liked them so much I bought several more. Better than I could have ever expected. Cranks easily and emits a bright steady light.
